I hope this note finds you and your loved ones healthy and well.

With dealing with Covid 19, these past few weeks have been among some of the most tumultuous and emotional than any of us can remember in our lifetime.

I am certain that you all know the 21-day curfew across India has seriously impacted the livelihoods of several groups of daily wage earners in the city of Hyderabad.

With the complete shut down of construction work, contract laborers especially women have lost their jobs and are unable to feed their STARVING families. Rag pickers and garbage pickers are unable to move out of the slums and their families are starving as well.

Our organization, ASSET foundation is partnering with Sunitha Krishnan of Prajwala who is spearheading the effort to feed these starving families by contracting with a local grocer to provide Packages with daily necessities including rice, lentils, spices, and other sundry items.

Any small amount you contribute in this effort will help those in dire need struggling on the streets.
